Cook Springs Road starts at Alabama 174 toward Odenville .

It ends at Tunnel Mountain Road below Mountain Top Loop.  Lovely Ride.

Tunnel Mountain Road

Took a shortcut via 231,Easonville Road to Hillary Church , and Sweet Apple, to Cooks Cut off, up to Mountain Top Loop.

 Past the firehouse descend steeply to highway 78.  I turned around and steeply climbed back to the top.  Same way home.  Great ride.

Mountain Top Loop

Ride down 231 to Wolf Creek Road and turn left on Cooks Spring Cut off.   Climb to Mountain Top Loop.  Descend same road.  Gorgeous ride!

 

Hardwick-Church loop

Lawley Shelby County

Down 231 to Camp Creek Road then left on Wolf Creek Road.  Retrace steps.  Beautiful countryside

Fricker farm loop

Down 231 to Easonville road, Dry Creek Road, Fricker,  Camp Creek Road, back to 231.

England Road

From Stemley Bridge to Lincoln Fire Station, then up to I 20 and the country road to the lakeshore.  Beautiful scenery.

Church Road-Hardwick Loop

Left early to avoid the inferno.  Church Road, Golf Course, Hardwick and return.

Old Beavers Road

Straight down US 231 past New London Firehouse,turn right onto Old Beavers Road.  Shade tree lined road, transitioning to hilly green horse country. At Hillary church I turned right toward 231,

 but if you turn left you connect with Dry Creek and Sweet Apple Roads.  Beautiful!

Roberts Mill Pond Counter clockwise

Rode early to avoid the heat.  Cogswell, Roberts Mill, Wolf Creek, Sweet Apple, Dry Creek and home. What a beautiful ride!

Odenville

Road to Odenville this morning.  Some  very big rollers  on state road 174 but not bad.  Pretty countryside.

Roberts Mill Pond Road

Beautiful loop : Dry Creek Road, Sweet Apple Road, Wolf Creek Road, Roberts Mill Pond Road, and back to Cogswell.

Wolf Creek to Sweet Apple Road

Connecting some loose ends to day, first Wolf Creek to Sweet Apple Road.  Then back to Cogswell and Wolf Creek.  Over I 20 and through countryside until US 230.  Return retracing my steps.

Hardwick Road

From Cropwell follow the backroad past elementary school,Hardwick Drive.  Enter Riverside where you meet the interstate head back.  I returned via golf course road and Church road.

Cogwells Road

Cogswell Road starts not far from Wolf Creek Road near the high school.  From under the Interstate go on Mineral Springs Road until the  right turn stop sign.  Continue until the 231 junction, turn right and follow Pell City main road toward home.

Land’s End

Stemley Bridge, Lincoln I 20 interchange,road to Land’s End, Eureka Road and return.  

Wolf Creek Road

This connects Dry Creek Road with Wolf Creek Road.  Very Pretty countryside.
